Before connecting the hair styler, check that the voltage of
the hair styler corresponds to the local voltage.
•
Do not cut, damage or modify the cord. Do not pull, twist or
bend the cord with unnecessary force. Do not place heavy
objects on the cord or allow it to get pinched in between
objects. Do not wrap the cord around the hair styler as it may
cause fire and/or electric shock. If the cord is damaged or
becomes hot, stop using it immediately.
•
When the hair styler is used in a bathroom, unplug it after
use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even
when the hair styler is switched off.
•
For additional protection, the installation of a residual current
device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not
exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit
supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
•
Using the Hair Styler
•
Stop using it immediately if the hair styler does not produce
air constantly and the cord or plug is damaged or becomes
hot, or the plug fits loosely in the outlet.
•
Never insert foreign objects into either the air inlet or outlet.
•
Do not use the hair styler near inflammable material such as
benzine, paint thinner, sprays, etc.
•
Do not use the hair styler while your hands are wet.
•
Do not use or place the hair styler in an area with high
humidity. Do not submerge the hair styler in water.
•

•
Repairing the Hair Styler
•
Only qualified personnel should repair or disassemble the
hair styler.
•
If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
•
When the hair styler is blowing hot air, occasionally it may
turn off or sparks may be seen. In such cases, dust may have
accumulated at the air inlet and/or the air outlet. Also, the air
inlet may be being blocked by your hair, hands, etc. (This
phenomenon is the result of the hair styler’s thermal switch. It
is a protective device. The sparks do not pose a danger in
and/or themselves.) Slide the main switch to the “0” position
and remove the dust if dust has accumulated, or if air inlet
was blocked by your hair or hand, cool down the hair styler
for approximately 5 minutes before using it again.
•
CAUTION
•
Do not put your hands on the air outlets or use them if they
are damaged. You may get burned.
•
Only use the hair styler for drying and styling human hair. Do
not use it for children.
•
Do not use the hair styler if it is damaged.
•
Do not touch the attachments as they become hot during and
after use.
•
Make sure hair does not get sucked into the air inlets.
•
Do not use thinner, benzine or any other solvent to clean the
hair styler.
