About charging

Place the charger on a stable
horizontal surface such as
countertop.

Align the main unit so it is facing
forward, and set it straight into
the charging section.

Abnormal charging
The charge status lamp (
) will blink twice every second.
• Charging is completed after approx. 17 hours.
The charging time may differ with the charging capacity.
• A full charge will supply enough power for approx. 60 minutes
use.
(Use time may vary depending on ambient temperature and
use conditions.)
•If the charge status lamp (
) blinks quickly (twice per second)
or if it does not glow for a few minutes, please refer to
page 15.
•Charging cannot start when the main unit is tilted or the bottom
of the main unit is not in contact with the charging section.

Disconnect the power plug from the household
outlet.

•Charging the battery for more than 17 hours will not damage
the main unit.
About the charging reminder function
• It is time to charge when the battery capacity
lamp (
) starts to blink while using.
• This lamp will turn off approx. 5 seconds after
turning the switch off.
• When you turn off the main unit while the battery capacity is low,
the unit beeps.
Notes
•
The charging time may vary when using for the first time, or
when it has not been in use for more than 6 months. Also, the
charge status lamp (
) may not glow for a few minutes after
charging starts, but it will glow if charging continues.
•Recommended ambient temperature for charging is 5 °C –
35 °C. The battery may not charge properly or not at all under
extreme low or high temperatures.
