Remote code
A remote code must be entered when
operating the answering system remotely.
This code prevents unauthorized parties
from listening to your messages remotely.
Store any 4-digit number.

Ring count
You can change the number of times the
phone rings before the unit answers calls.
You can select 2, 4, 6, 9 rings or

留言查询话费节省
”: The unit rings less
than 4 times before the unit answers when
new messages have been recorded, and
more than 4 times and more when there
are no new messages. If you call your
phone from outside to listen to new
messages (page 48), you will know that
there are no messages when the phone
rings for the 4th time. You can then hang
up without being charged for the call.
