Registration
Canceling the cordless
handset
registration
If you no longer need to use the cordless
handset or if you want to use the cordless
handset with a different base unit of the
same model, it is necessary to cancel the
cordless handset’s registration from the
current base unit.
Important:
L
Before canceling, make sure the base
unit is not being used.
L
Have the cordless handset and base
unit near each other when canceling the
cordless handset.
L
If you do not use the cordless handset
after canceling registration, remove the
battery.
L
If you cancel the cordless handset
registration of the extension number 1,
the date and time are not backed up
during a power failure.

Registering the cordless
handset
To use an additional cordless handset

handset to the base unit.

unit near each other when re-registering
the cordless handset.

If “

cordless handset is near the base unit,
you may need to re-register the cordless
handset to the base unit.
