6.4.5 Preset Scan mode
Push scan in preset scan mode is performed by the following procedure.
Configure the network settings
1.
You should configure the network settings using the LCD on the unit, Network Setting Tool, or
Configuration Web.
2.
Set up a scan server as necessary
•
Depending on the functions you want to use during scanning, you may need to set up a scan server.
If you will use "Cloud" or "SharePoint" as output destinations, you must set up a scan server. For
details, refer to "7.1 Functions that require a scan server" (page 64).

For details about setting up a scan server, refer to "7.2 How to set up the scan server" (page 65).
Configure the scanning conditions using Configuration Web
1.
Launch Configuration Web.

For details, refer to "8.1 Launch Configuration Web" (page 66).
2.
Open the Server tab and configure the settings that you will use.
For details, refer to "8.7 Server tab" (page 76).
•
If you use e-mail, you should configure SMTP Settings.
•
If you use shared folders, you should configure Shared Folder List.
•
If you use FTP, you should configure FTP Server List.
3.
Open the Scan tab.
4.
Open the [Scan Settings] sub menu.

You can register up to 20 settings.
5.
Click
to register a setting.
6.
Set the Scan Settings as needed.
