Volume
3.3 Adjusting cordless
handset volume
Ringer volume
4 levels (high/medium/low/off) are available.
While the unit is idle,
press
{e}
or
{v}
.
To turn the ringer OFF
When the ringer volume is set to LOW, press and
hold
{v}
until a beep sounds.
Note:

When the ringer volume is set to OFF,
“
Ringer Off
”
is displayed.

When the ringer volume is set to OFF, the
cordless handset will not ring for outside
calls. The cordless handset will ring at the
lowest level for intercom calls and when
paged.
Ringer type

You can select one of 9 ringer types for
outside calls (page 57).
Receiver volume
3 levels (high/medium/low) are available.

Speaker volume
2 levels (high/medium) are available.

entrance, you cannot adjust the volume.
Confirm that there are no documents in the
entrance.
To turn the ringer OFF

When a call is received, the base unit will not
ring for outside calls and will display
“
INCOMING CALL
”
. The base unit will ring at
the low level for intercom calls.

To turn the ringer back ON, press

types for outside calls (feature #17 on page
52).
Handset receiver volume
