Network Direct Station
Selection (NDSS)
Allows the extensions connected to up to seven other PBXs in a
network to be monitored, as well as the transferring of calls to those
extensions with one touch.

15.1.14 Private Network Features—NDSS (Network Direct
Centralized Voice Mail
Allows up to 8 PBXs to share the services of the Unified Messaging
system of a KX-NS1000 PBX or a VPS (Voice Processing System)
connected to another, non-KX-NS1000 PBX in DPT integration.
This Unified Messaging system or VPS can provide voice mail for
extensions attached to any of the PBXs in the network.

15.1.18 Private Network Features—QSIG—CCBS (Completion of
Calls to Busy Subscriber)
Description
If the call has been made to an extension in another PBX in the QSIG network and the called party is busy, an
extension user can set to receive callback ringing when the called party becomes free. When the user answers
the callback ringing, that party’s number is automatically dialed.
Conditions
•
This feature is available under the following conditions:
a.
The caller’s PBX is capable of using CCBS.
b.
The called party’s PBX is capable of accepting CCBS.
•
For ISDN, receiving and sending CCBS must be enabled individually on an ISDN (QSIG) port basis through
system programming.
•
An extension user can set only one CCBS. The last setting is effective.
