Reconnect AC adaptor to the base unit.
R
The handset is not registered to the base unit. Register it
(page 47).

Activating eco mode reduces the range of the base unit in
standby mode. If required, turn eco mode off (page 18).
Noise is heard while
talking, sound cuts in and
out.
R
You are using the handset or base unit in an area with high
electrical interference. Re-position the base unit and use the
handset away from sources of interference.
R
Move closer to the base unit.
R
If you use a DSL/ADSL service, we recommend connecting a
DSL/ADSL filter between the base unit and the telephone line
jack. Contact your DSL/ADSL provider for details.
R
While you are talking on a mobile call using the link to mobile
feature, you may hear noise during a mobile call if your
smartphone is too close to the base unit. For best
performance, we recommend placing your smartphone
between 0.6 m to 3 m away from the base unit.
Sound quality seems to be
getting worse.

registering the recommended handset.
Unexpected sounds from
your mobile phone are
heard through the unit’s
speaker.
R
Apps installed on your smartphone may treat in-app sound
effects or others sounds as music. In this case, these sounds
may be heard through the unit’s speaker. Use your
smartphone to quit the corresponding app.
The handset or base unit
does not ring.

The ringer volume for landline is turned off. Adjust the ringer
