U
niform Call Distribution (UCD)
Description
Allows incoming calls to be distributed uniformly to a specific
group of extensions called an UCD group. Calls to an UCD group
hunt for an idle station in a circular way. This UCD feature is
particularly helpful when a certain extension receives a high
volume of calls compared with other extensions.
An outline sketch of an UCD is shown below.
(1) When a number of calls have arrived
at an UCD group, the 1st call is sent to
extension A first.
