If you select one of the melody ringer
types, the ringer will continue to sound for
several seconds if the caller hangs up
before you answer. You may hear a dial
tone or no one on the line when you
answer a call.
Tone options
You can turn the following tones and alarms
on or off.

KEY TONE
”: Tones heard when keys are
pressed. Includes confirmation tones and
error tones.
“
CALL WAITING
”: Tones heard when an
outside call is received while on an intercom
call.
“
RANGE ALARM
”: An alarm heard when you
move out of range of a base unit during a
conversation.
“
BATTERY LOW
”: An alarm heard when the
batteries need to be charged.
