SMS Feature (Text Messaging)
Quick Guide
You can send and receive text messages between other fixed lines and
mobile phones that also support a compatible SMS feature and
network, both national and international.
The SMS feature is only available after subscription to Caller ID.
Before sending your first text message and to find out more information
on SMS conditions and registration, please read your ‘SMS Manual’.
If you have any questions relating to SMS Service Help, please call
09063020069 (calls are charged at 50p per minute and the helpdesk is
open from 9.00am-5.30pm (Mon-Fri).
The telephone has 5 input modes. ‘Letterwise®’ is the default mode. ‘Letterwise®’
is a form of predictive texting and reduces the amount of button presses required
to input text. This predictive texting method is slightly different to most mobile
phone methods.
See ‘SMS Feature’ chapter in the main Operating Instructions
for further details.
