Identifying Malicious Callers (Malicious Call
Identification [MCID])
You can ask your telephone company to trace a malicious caller during a conversation or after the
opposite party hangs up.
You will receive information on the malicious call later on.
To request MCID
•
A special arrangement with the ISDN carrier is required to utilise the MCID service. Consult
your dealer for further information.
•
The system is designed and manufactured in accordance with the following ETS (European
Telecommunication Standard) specifications:

•
The MCID service is only available for calls using an ISDN line. Not available during a three-
party conference call.
•
After dialling 737, if you hear a reorder tone or do not hear any tone, your request is not
accepted. To request MCID again, press the TRANSFER button (DPT) ; or press the
switchhook lightly (SLT) and then dial 737 again. If the caller hangs up, you must try again
within 10 seconds.
