Operation
PROBLEM
When using the speaker-
phone/monitor mode with a
DPT, KX-T7220/KX-
T7230/KX-T7235/KX-T72
50, nothing is audible.
The unit does not ring.
During a power interrup-
tion, extensions connected
to Power Failure Transfer
jacks do not operate.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The “HEADSET” mode is
selected by station pro-
gramming,
“Handset/Headset
Selection.”
The Ringer Volume
Selector is set to “OFF.”
• A DPT is connected to
the jack.
• The dialing mode (tone
or pulse) is improper.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
When the headset is not used,
select the “HANDSET” mode by
station programming.
Set to “HIGH” or “LOW.”
• Disconnect the DPT and connect
a single line telephone.
• Set the Tone / Pulse switch to the
other position.
