Executive Busy Override - CO Line
Description
Allows a proprietary telephone user to barge into an existing outside call either between two
outside parties on the ISDN line through the system or between an outside and an inside parties,
so as to establish a three-party conference call. It is possible for extension users to prevent this
function from being executed by another extension user (Executive Busy Override Deny).
Conditions
•
Class of Service programming determines the extension users who can perform Executive
Busy Override.
•
The pre-assigned extension users can barge in any CO line even if access to the line is not
allowed by System Programming.
•
This feature does not work if the extension has set Executive Busy Override Deny or Data
Line Security.
•
When a two-party call is changed to a three-party call and vice versa, a confirmation tone
is sent to all three parties. This tone can be eliminated by System Programming.
