Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN)

Description
The system supports terminal equipment with separate power supplies. For example, an ISDN
telephone, G4 Facsimile and personal computers which are connected to an optional ISDN S0
Line Unit or Card. A maximum of eight terminal units can be connected to each ISDN S0 bus
with point-to-multi-point configuration. However, only up to two units can be used
simultaneously. Terminal equipment can be addressed individually with Multiple Subscriber
Numbers (MSN). The MSN consists of the ISDN extension number and an additional digit, 00
through 99. If MSN is not assigned, all equipment on the same S0 bus are called
simultaneously.
