Recovery Delay and Jitter Buffer
The KX-TDA0480 supports a secondary Jitter Buffer that activates in a dynamic manner. The
following parameters can be programmed. This feature can be configured to help compensate
for network congestion problems.
•
Maximum Receive Buffer Size, defines the size of Jitter Buffer (max 1920ms).
•
Start Recovery specifies the discard packets process limit once denoting that the buffer is
full.
•
End Recovery defines the limit beneath which the buffer continues to discard packets until
the setting is reached.
The following diagram illustrates how the buffer process works.

protocol. Refer to this number when setting the priority control of a router.
