•
Place the mouse cursor over the unit to be configured, click the right mouse button, and use
the pop-up menu's
Edit configuration
item.
The MCS then displays an Edit Configuration dialogue box asking if the unit OFDD.VHO file
to be edited is the one that is currently recorded on disk by the MCS or if the OFDD.VHO file
currently stored in the unit should be downloaded for editing.
•
In the case of a newly created unit, the
Saved configuration file
option (default) should
be selected.
•
If a unit has been previously configured and its configuration file is not recorded on the
MCS terminal currently in use, it may be desirable to download the OFDD.VHO file
from the unit. In order to do this, the terminal must have an active LAN link with the
unit. In this case, select the
Download configuration file from Unit
radio button.
Once a method has been selected, click on the
OK
button to proceed.
Assuming that the Saved File option is selected, the MCS then displays a file selection dialogue
box.
