Password
The Maintenance and User passwords can be changed by clicking one of the Change Password
buttons. The change procedure is the same for both password types.
When a Change Password button is clicked, the MCS displays a change password dialogue
box.
WARNING
If a password is lost, it cannot be recovered. In the event of a lost password, contact your
maintenance staff, an service office, or an authorised agent.
To change a password:
1.
Type the current password into the
Current Password
field.
2.
Type the new password into the
New Password
field.
3.
Type the new password a second time in the
Confirm new password
field.
4.
Click on the
OK
button. Click the
Cancel
button to abort the operation.
The MCS will then close the Change Password dialogue box and return to the General folder.
If the current password is incorrect, or if the new password confirmation does not match the
new password, the MCS displays an error message.
Use the IP Addresses section to view and edit unit IP addressing information.
IP Address
Type an IP address for the KX-TDA0480.
If the unit was setup on the terminal currently in use, this value should not need to be changed.
Subnet Mask
Type a Subnet Mask IP address.
If the unit was setup on the terminal currently in use, this value should not need to be changed.
