Operator's Parameters - Operator 1 - Day Mode
This parameter is used to enable or disable the Operator Service. It specifies Operator 1's
extension and the treatment of the calls transferred to that extension. When Operator service is
enabled, operator-seeking calls are first transferred to Operator 1's extension.
To select Operator Parameters - Operator 1 - Day Mode, follow the menu path as
shown:

: All no-DTMF-input calls are transferred to the
General Delivery Mailbox when the Operator Service is
disabled,

Note
: The default setting (0) cannot be used with the
Message Waiting Notification Lamp feature. An
extension number must be assigned that is included in the
Extension Numbering Plan.
To assign Operator 1 to a new extension, first delete its
mailbox, Operator 1's mailbox is assigned in the next
parameter.

this mailbox depending upon how the Busy Coverage or
No-Answer Coverage modes are set.

the time set, the VPS will offer other options as defined by
the "No-Answer Coverage Mode."
