Basic Operations
Operating the answering device
Listening to messages in common memory
When the unit receives voice messages,
—the NEW MESSAGES indicator will flash,
—the call counter will show the total number of recorded messages up to 99, and
—a slow beep will sound if message alert (page 28) is set to ON.
Functions during playback
To listen to new messages
Press
(NEW\MESSAGES)

At the end of the last message, 3 beeps will sound.
To listen to all of the recorded
messages

Open the station key panel.

Adjust the answering device volume using
(VOLUME)

Voice time/day stamp
During playback, a synthesized voice will
announce the day and time when each message
was recorded.
The day and time are also shown on the display
along with the recorded order of the messages.

To repeat a message
Press
(REPEAT)
to play back the previous message.
To skip a message
Press
(SKIP)
to play back the next message.
To stop the operation
Press
(STOP)
to stop playback or another operation.

within 1
minute after pressing
(STOP)

Saving message
The unit will save the incoming messages
automatically, if the user does not erase
them.
