Encryption of write content
This unit enables the encryption of the write/read contents.
The data encryption can be used corresponding to Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a key length of 256
bits.
The encryption key is available from the application. For more information, refer to the user manual for the
application.
The encryption is set when formatting a RAID configuration unit.
Use the encrypted RAID configuration unit with the encryption key. All data in the RAID configuration unit, including
the file system information, is encrypted. If the encryption key is incorrect, the RAID configuration unit cannot be
recognized in the file system.

When you confirm the encryption of RAID configuration unit, select “Monitor”

To confirm whether the unit has been set as encrypted by the application, select “Monitor”

Verify mode
The unit provides verification functions with Auto Verify mode and All Verify mode. The verify mode can be set from
the application. For more information about the settings, refer to the application manual.

Auto Verify mode
While keeping the write performance to ensure appropriate writing quality for storing, verify only the required data
under certain conditions.

All Verify mode
Playback all written data to verify performance. The writing transfer rate is down to about half in the All Verify mode.
