Formatting CD-RW/DVD-RW discs
There are two options available.
Complete Format:
The entire disc is physically formatted. This takes
time, but it is necessary to format it the first time
you are using a disc.
Normal Format:
This method can only be used on discs that have
already been formatted once.
1
Place the disc in the drive and when
the menu is displayed, select [B’s
CLiP].
Quick Guide
Note:
You can also start the
formatter by right click-
ing on the B’s CLiP
icon on the task bar
and selecting [For-
mat].
If, when you do this, the Formatter is acti-
vated, click on [Next].
2
Select the drive you wish to format
and click [Next].
3
To check the properties of the disc,
click on [Properties]. If everything is
OK, click on [Next].
4
Enter the volume label and click on
[Finish].
Formatting begins.
When formatting is completed, the disc is
mounted.
5
Click on [OK].
Note:
A disc that has been formatted once can be for-
matted again using either normal format or com-
plete format. Normal format takes less time to com-
plete than complete format.
Eject disc
Right click on the B’s CLiP5 indicator in the
Task Tray and select [Eject] from the menu.
