15.1 2D code types
Choose from different 2D code types to encode your text data. Each 2D code type can
include a specified character set, a maximum number of characters and other specific
features.
QR Code, Micro QR Code
This 2D code supports the following characters and modes:
• “Numeric” mode:
0–9
• “Alphanumeric” mode:
0–9, A–Z, space character, symbols $ % * + - . / :
• “Byte” mode:
Any single-byte ASCII code from 00

• “Kanji” mode (ISO/IEC 18004):
Any JIS code (JIS level 1 and JIS level 2) from 2121
