27 Troubleshooting
Cause:
Power is not supplied to the common terminal of the TERMINAL
connector.
Remedy:
Connect the internal or external power supply to IN COM. 1 (X2) and
OUT COM.1 (Y2) on the TERMINAL connector.
Laser pumping does not start in remote mode
Cause:
Signals from the external device cannot be transmitted.
Remedy:

The setting for “Laser pumping control” does not match the actual control
method.
Remedy:
• Check if the setting for “Laser pumping control” (“I/O” or
“Communication commands”) in the “Operation/information” window
of the “System settings” screen is correct.
• A change of this setting will take effect only after restarting the laser
marking system.
27.4 Connection with Laser Marker NAVI smart
If a connection to the laser marking system is not possible, check the condition of your PC
and the communication settings.
Laser marking system not available in the “Connection” dialog
