7.4.4. 1st Lens Frame Adjustment
1. Rotate Zoom Ring (Repair Lens) until fully TELE side.
2. Set General-Purpose Camera as next and Focus Subject in centre using MF Ring.
- Mode Dial Aperture : AE priority
- Focus : MF
- ISO : 200
- OIS : OFF
- Aperture : Full Open (Set aperture to F4.0 in TELE side)
3. While rotating 2 Adjustment Pins by using Torx Driver (RFKZ0609),
by visual check, Modulation Transfer Frequency is within spec. (Refer to spec TELE)
Observation point : Centre and four corners (Angle of view 0.7 and four corners on the Mark 4 circle)
4. Rotate Zoom Ring (Repair Lens) until WIDE side and aperture to fully open by Rear Mode Dial.
Set aperture so that the aperture is F2.8.
By visual check, Modulation Transfer Frequency is within spec. (Refer to spec WIDE)
Observation point : Centre and four corners (Angle of view 0.7 and four corners on the Mark 4 circle)
5. If not within spec, repeat the adjustment from the above step 1.
(If not within spec more than five times, implement the re-assembly and re-exchange of replacement parts.)
