6.21 Rotation
Adjustment
(Contour)
6.21.1 Setting Procedure
The detection and setting procedures of an object are the same for Contour Matching. (See page 110.) In
this section, the differences between Rotation Adjustment (Contour) and Contour Matching and the way
of testing are described below.
Number of available settings
The number of available settings for Rotation Adjustment (Contour) is two per product type and memory.
Combination of settings
• Rotation Adjustment (Contour) x 2
• Contour Matching x 2
• Rotation Adjustment (Contour) x 1 + Contour Matching x 1
Execution of a test
Before registering a base position, you can perform a test to check if Horizontal/Vertical Areas can detect
an object. When a live image is currently displayed, a test is performed after importing a new image.
When a Memory image is displayed, a test is performed with the Memory image currently displayed
without importing any images.
1. Select "ROT. ADJ. (CONTOUR)".
2. Press the A key while the tab or the item is highlighted.
If the object was not detected, the following error code is displayed below the message area.
E0044
Check the image to make sure that the error code above does not appear or the object is detected.
