6.5.3 Setting
Procedure
1. Set a checker area following the procedure of "Basic Operation at Checker Setting" on page
66.
2. Select "Position Adj." and press the ENTER key
When you make a position /rotation adjustment, specify the number.
You can specify only the position/ rotation adjustments to which the lower number than the Gray window is
assigned.
(See page 115 for Position Adjustment and 129 for Rotation Adjustment.)
3. Select "Max. Gray Limit".
Max. /Min. Gray Limit:
As for the pixels with a gray value exceeding the preset Min./Max. Limitation, if the pixels of the Gray
exceed the maximum value, they will be set to the maximum values, and if they are under the minimum
value, they will be set to the minimum values. The maximum/minimum values are incorporate into average
calculation. Use this function when calculating Gray average by ignoring the gray value that may be
suddenly occurred.
4. Set "Max. Gray Limit" and "Min. Gray Limit" if necessary.
5. Select "OK Judge. Max.".
The value shown at the right of "OK Judge. Max." is highlighted.
OK Judge. Max. /Min.:
These are the standard values for the measured gray average. If the measurement results are within the
preset range, it will be judged "OK".
6. Specify the values for "OK Judge. Max." and "OK Judge. Min.
If you do not know what standard value you should set to, measure the areas of a good object and a not
good object first and set to the values that a good object can be judged OK.
7. Press the A key to begin to test.
Confirm the judgement and the gray average value shown the message area.
If you output the judgement result to the external device, use the "Judgement Output" function,
and if the measurement data, use the "Num. Calcu." function.
