Processing Conditions:
Sets the following processing conditions.
Scan Pitch:
Sets the number of rows (or columns) to scan within a
scanning area. The higher setting values the faster
processing speed; however, more rows (or columns) will be
skipped.
Filter/Width:
If the objects you do not want to detect in front of the detection parts are captured, this function allows the
device to ignore them. If the noises that exist in front of the object are detected during testing, increase
the Width value. If the noises in front of the object are detected when the shapes of the detection parts
are round or sharp, not linear, increase the "Width" and "Filter" values.
Average Range:
To decide how many pixels of the edge are averaged from the Front detection position. If the desired
position is not detected as a result of testing with the default value, change the Average Range value.
Increase the Average Range value to detect slightly inside the edges of the object. Decrease the value to
detect on the edges of the object. If you want to detect the Front positions of a circle, sharp or
concavo-convex detection part, try to decrease the Average Range value (0, 1) as possible as you can.
If you set the Average Range value to more than 1, Y coordinate (for the horizontal scan direction) and X
coordinate (for the vertical scan direction) will be also averaged.
