CYL PFG can not be detected when the cylinder starts.
If the CYL PFG could not be detected within 5 seconds when the
cylinder starts from the cylinder stop condition in tape loading
completion, and so on, the load from tape to the cylinder is ridded by
unloading until the LOAD position at once.
If the CYL PFG could not be detected within 5 seconds after that, it is
judged an Error of the cylinder system.

“H01” is indicated automatically, and the power is turned to off in the
DOWN position.

Only the power key is accepted, and the Mechanism Initial Operation is
performed.

The CAP FG can not be detected during the Mechanism Initial
Operation (Tape rewinding by the S-Reel) in LOAD position.
When the power is turned on or the AC is input to the VCR in condition
that the mechanism is stopped at LOAD position with a mechanism
lock, if the CAP FG could not be detected over 255 pulses during first
one second of 5 seconds tape rewinding previous to the re-loading
with S-reel, that is judged a Error of the capstan system.

“H02” is indicated automatically, and the power is turned to off in the
DOWN position.
l
Only the power key is accepted, and the Mechanism Initial Operation is
performed.

The position signal can not be detected within the regulated time
for the shift to the aiming position except EJECT position during
except unloading when the mechanism position is shifted.
IF the position signal could not be detected within the regulated time
which is set depending on the distance to the aiming position when the
mechanism is shifting the position, it is judged Mechanism Lock. The
judgement depends on the input signal from the Position SW.

In the first detection after the mode shift is started, the detection result is
not judged an Error, and the Mechanism Initial Operation is performed.
l
If the position signal aimed to is not detected again during this
Mechanism Initial Operation, it is judged an Error, and “03” is indicated
automatically.
l
Then the mechanism stops at the position by the automatic power off,
and only the Power Key is accepted.

After the power is turned on, the Mechanism Initial Operation in
performed.
l
“03” is memorized on the self- diagnosis history.
