Optimal
Range
The unit is designed to maximize performance and improve transmission range in the field. However, the talk range depends on your
surrounding environment. This unit is a “line of sight” radio and therefore talk range will be affected by concrete structures, heavy foliage and
transmission from inside a building or vehicle.
Range is maximized in flat,
open areas.
Medium
Range
Range is decreased when
buildings and trees are in the
way.
Minimal
Range
Dense foliage and mountains
can limit range.
