The Audio 20V and –20V sources
The 20V and –20V sources are used to power the audio output circuit of the unit.
The diode D830 and D831 convert the AC supplied by the secondary windings of
the transformer T801 to DC voltages.
The 20V source
The 20V source is used extensively in the A-Board. It is applied to several
regulator circuits to create other voltages. The DG-Board, tuner, A/V select ICs,
and the audio BBE IC use these voltages. The diode D827 converts the AC
supplied by the secondary windings of the transformer T801 to 20Vdc.
T-Board 10V source
The 10V source of the T-Board is primarily used by the DT-Board. It is also
regulated to 7.7V standby voltage for use by the DG and DT boards. The diode
D2813 converts the AC supplied by the secondary windings of the transformer
T2801 to 10Vdc.
T-Board 30V source
The DT and DG boards use the 30V source of the T-Board. The diode D2814
converts the AC supplie
transformer T2801 to
0Vdc.
