Remote Control
Unit cannot be controlled...
ACTION, SELECT, SET, POWER,
etc. buttons cannot be selected...
Correction
• Aim Remote directly at the remote sensor on the unit. (P. 9)
• Avoid any object blocking signal path.
• Inspect the remote batteries. (P. 4)
• Exposing unit remote sensor to direct fluorescent or outdoor
light may cause signal interference.
• Press FM/TV for TV mode. (P. 26)
• Press
DVD for DVD mode. (P. 26)
• Press
FM/TV for FM mode. (P. 26)
• Check remote batteries.
Check the following points once again if you are having trouble with your unit.
Power
No power…
Power turns itself off...
Monitor
No picture or sound...
Poor picture with normal sound...
Poor sound with normal picture...
Poor TV reception...
No color or poor color...
Ghost (multiple) images...
TV programs cannot be watched...
Correction
• Make sure your antenna system (TV or CABLE), is
correctly set. (P. 10)
• Completely insert Power Plug into an AC outlet.
• Set POWER button to ON.
• Adjust BRIGHTNESS, SHARPNESS, and PICTURE
controls in the SET UP Video Adjustment. (P. 35)
• Adjust VOLUME control. (P. 18)
• Adjust SHARPNESS and PICTURE controls in the SET UP
Video Adjustment. (P. 35)
• Adjust TINT and COLOR controls in the SET UP Video
Adjustment. (P. 35)
• Install a directional antenna.
• Make sure the selected channel is in unit’s memory. (P. 12)
Correction
• Completely insert Power Plug into an AC outlet.
• Set POWER button to ON.
• Auto power-off (shutoff) occurs after about 5 min. in DVD
mode with no operation, or if there is no broadcast signal in
TV mode. Turn the power back on. (P. 17, 28)
