Section 700 - Operation
Network Call Forward Enhancement
When more than two systems are connected via a Tie-line, in some cases, an extension call inside one PBX
as a result occupies two Tie-lines, so called ’Trombone’ phenomenon.
To use a Tie-line more effectively, this new software has the option to select not to occupy the 2nd Tie-line
in case of Call Forward to Closed Number extension by programming.
Phase 5.0
Absence Message Key is now available on FF key
When an Absence MEssage Setting Key is assigned to FF key. The LED of the Absence MEssage key
(assigned on FF key) lights red when this feature is activated.
Account Code length can be specified
A choice of either 4 digit or 10 digit account codes is now available. An account code with more than the
specified digits is rejected. So, account code 1234 and 12345 are recognized as different by the system.
Call Forward All Key on FF key is now available
This feature allows users to have a separate lamp for CFWD setting. The LED lamp on the CFWD-ALl Call
key (assigned to FF key) will light red when this feature is programmed.
Call Park Setting by BLF key
Following the park code, instead of dialling extension number, the user may set call park at another
extension by pressing the BLF key for the target extension.
Recall Pickup
An Extension Group Pickup code allows user to pick up a Transfer Recall (only on non-appearing calls, a
Hold Recall and a Station Park Recall.
Caller ID presentation at S bus port
On internal call, a calling party number (Caller ID) presented from S-point extension port can be shown on
LCD of destination key telephone. This CLI can be output to the call logger.
ISDN Busy Tone
When calling over ISDN, and the called party is busy, CO busy tone can be heard. (used be Internal busy
tone)
