OUTLINE

1

This links two output devices to the

S-LINK

 system.

<Application>

The

S-LINK

system control the double solenoid valves

through the

SL-CH22

 or the

SL-CH22-PN

.

ADDRESS SETTING

6

Make sure to operate the switch while the power is off

and after taking countermeasures, such as, wrist

strap, etc., against electrostatic charge.

The address of output 1 is 127 or less. If the address

of output 2 is over 127, the

S-LINK

 system does not

work properly.

The address of output 1 is given by the sum of all val-

ues that corresponding bits are set ON, and the ad-

dress of output 2 is made up by adding one to output 1

address.

The address range is;

Output 1: 0 to 126, Output 2: 1 to 127

The right-most bit is not assigned (NOT USED).

No matter which it is ON or OFF.

(e.g.)

Output 1 address = 2 + 4 + 32 = 38

Output 2 address = (Output 1 address) + 1

= 38 + 1 = 39

 with M4 pan head screws.

The tightening torque should be 0.8N

m or less.

Press the

SL-CH22

 or the

SL-CH22-PN

 onto the

MS-SLH

.

Note:

M4 pan head screws are not enclosed with

MS-SLH

. Please

arrange them separately.

CONNECTING CABLE

5

Make sure that the power supply is off while wiring.

Connecting Users' output devices

Using the socket-branch hook-up connector

SL-JK

(for cable end) or

SL-JK1

 (for T-branching) and the

snap male connector

SL-CP1

 (for 0.08 to 0.2mm

2

 ca-

ble) or

SL-CP2

 (for 0.3mm

2

 cable) enables to save

the connection work for output devices. However, take

care that there are output devices which can not be

connected.

Refer to the instruction manual enclosed with each

connector for details.

Connecting S-LINK line

Use the

SL

 connector to

hook up

S-LINK

 side cable

of the

SL-CH22

 or the

SL-CH22-PN

to the

S-LINK

field cable.

Colors should be matched

between both cable.
