Replacing the Cartridge

Replacing method
Do not tip over the main unit, or face up the main spout.
(Water may enter the inside the main unit, resulting in a malfunction.)
Since the cartridge usage amount needs to be reset, do not remove the power plug
when replacing the cartridge.
Before replacing the cartridge, turn off the faucet. Do not run water through the
Alkaline Ionizer with the cartridge removed.
(Doing so will cause the water to overfl ow.)
Dispose of the used cartridge in accordance with the applicable ordinances in the area concerned.
(The material of the cartridge cover is ABS. For the type of the fi lter materials, refer to P. EN41.)
The replacement method can be checked on the LCD display of the main unit.
Preparation: Please turn off the faucet.

Remove the
cover.

Remove old
cartridge.
Push down on the top
Pull toward you
Pull up and out
Point the main spout toward
the inside the sink. (Water fl ows.)
Main spout
Take care since water will drip from the cartridge.
( Water may also emerge from the bottom of the
unit, but this does not indicate that there is a leak.)

Install the new
cartridge.
Align the cartridge
with the center of
the bottom surface.
Insert the cartridge
while pushing in.
Push up the
cartridge until it
clicks.

Reset the cartridge usage amount.
Press
use
to select the “Cartridge check &
replacement”, and press
.
Select the “Cartridge replacement
(used amount reset)”,
and press
.
Follow the instruction on the display, and
press
.
Be sure to reset the cartridge usage amount even
when it is replaced earlier than the replacement timing.
(To display the next replacement timing correctly)

Open the faucet, and
run purifi ed water
through the Alkaline
Ionizer.
( for about 3
or 4 minutes)
While water is running through the Alkaline Ionizer,
check that water is not leaking from the area where
the cartridge was installed.

Turn off the faucet,
and attach the cover to fi nish
the cartridge replacement.
Align the
protrusions with
the groove.
Close the cover.
Press
to fi nish the
cartridge
replacement screen.
Align the
protrusions
with the
groove.
