PC Cards
You can insert the following PC Cards.
z
Type
I
(3.3 mm) or
II
(5.0 mm):
You can insert two cards simultaneously.
z
Type
III
(10.5 mm):
You can insert a card only.
NOTE
z
The following types of card are not supported:
ZV card, SRAM card, FLASH ROM card (excluding ATA interface type), and other cards that require 12 V of operating
voltage.
Preparation
Before connecting a PC Card, first determine the media that contains the PC Card driver (e.g., CD-ROM), then attach
the device for that media to the multimedia pocket. Once the installation screen for the PC Card’s driver appears,
equipment you then connect to the multimedia pocket will not be recognized.
To insert the card

Insert the PC Card with the label side up until it securely fits in
the slot.
For further information, refer to the instruction manual of the card.
To remove the card

Disable the card function.

Double-click
on the notification area and select the card, then click [Stop].

Follow the on-screen instructions.

This step is not necessary when;
• Removing the card after turning off the computer.
