Setting the Power Plan Suitable for Each Scene
Switching Panasonic Power Plan Extension Utility manually
You can manually switch the fan control mode, the optical disc drive’s power (only for CF-F8/CF-W8 series) and the battery’s
Economy Mode (ECO).

The contents set by [Extension setting manual temporary switching] are not associated with the power plan. The set-
tings become disabled if the power plan is switched. The settings associated with the power plan are enabled.

Click
on the notification area.
Click the items you wish to set from [Extension setting manual temporary switching] and click the settings from the
displayed menu.

Check marks have been added for the current settings.
Make the detailed settings for Panasonic Power Plan Extension Utility
You can set Panasonic Power Plan Extension Utility separately.

The contents set in this method are associated with the power plan. If the power plan is switched, the settings are
switched to the set contents.

Click
on the notification area.

Click [Extension setting editing].

Click the name of Power Plan and click the Power Plan you wish to set.
The current power plan is displayed [Active].

Double-click the items (extension settings) you are going to set, and then change the set-
tings.

When you switch the power plan or connect/disconnect the AC adaptor and you do not
want the computer to notify the changed contents, remove the check mark for [Notifying
the changes in the extension settings when the power plan has been changed].

Click [OK] or [Apply] after setting is finished.
If you click [Returning the settings to default], all items for the selected power plan return to the factory default settings.
