Frame dropping may occur (images or sounds are disrupted)

Immediately after resuming from a pause, frame dropping may occur depending on the operating environment or DVD
video (images or sounds are disrupted).
z
If the DVD video software other than WinDVD has been installed, the images and motion videos may not be displayed
properly.
The playback screen appears to be blurred, white, and jumpy
z
Change the color preset settings.

Click
on the Player Panel to display the Video Center.

Click [Color].

Click [Custom], and on the same screen adjust the color by moving the sliders.
When battery operation time has become short:

Click
on the Player Panel and click [Display]. Set [Deinterlace] to [Auto] in the Video Center.
If you have uninstalled WinDVD accidentally:
z
Reinstall it by following the steps below.

Click
(Start) and input [c:\util\windvd] in [Start Search], and press
Enter
.

Right-click [setup] in [windvd] folder and click [Run as administrator].
If there are two or more “setup” files, right-click the file whose [Type] is [Application].
Follow the on-screen instructions and install WinDVD.
z
A standard user needs to enter an administrator password.
z
Playback may not be possible depending on the DVD recorder or the discs.
z
You must finalize
discs other than DVD-RAM before playback. For further information, refer to the instruction manual of
the DVD recorder.
z
You cannot play discs protected with copyright management technologies such as CPPM (Content Protection for Prere-
corded Media) and CPRM (Content Protection for Recordable Media).
