Internet Fax/Email Features
Setting the Internet Parameters
Basic Parameters
Following Six (6) Basic Parameters must be pre-programmed into the machine.
• TCP/IP Address of your machine
• TCP/IP Subnet Mask of your machine
• TCP/IP Address of the Default Gateway
• TCP/IP Address of the DNS Server
• Email Address of your machine
• Name or IP Address of the Default SMTP Mail Server
NOTE:
• If it is required the setting other than DHCP Server Network settings, Fax Parameter No. 169 "

should be set to "

" first, then setup Parameters No. 5 to 7 (see page 88).
• When Parameters No. 5 to 10 and 52 to 55 are set, cycle the power by turning the Power Switch on the Left
Side of the machine OFF and ON.

Time Zone
The Time Zone is required as part of the Email header information when sending
Internet faxes.

IP ADDRESS (DHCP)
Displays the address which was reserved by DHCP Server.

SUBNET MASK (DHCP) Displays the address which was reserved by DHCP Server.

DEF. GATEWAY IP
ADDR (DHCP)
Displays the address which was reserved by DHCP Server.

PRI. DNS SERVER IP
Address of DNS Server.

SEC. DNS SERVER IP
Address of 2nd DNS Server.

Email Address
The Email Address assigned to your machine for sending and receiving. (Up to 60
characters)

MAC ADDRESS
Indicates the MAC address.

SMTP Server Name
The name of the SMTP Mail Server. (Up to 60 characters)
