What you can do with each disc

DVD-RAM
DVD-RAM are discs that can be recorded on repeatedly. Their recorded contents can be freely edited
on this unit or the computer.

DVD-RW
DVD-RW are discs that can be formatted in two ways.
For recording repeatedly and editing:
VR format
For playback on other products:
Video format
Even if you record until the DVD-RW disc becomes full, formatting it on the unit makes recording
possible again. When formatting the disc you can change the format type (VR format or Video format).
