Selecting date/time display
The date and time information is displayed on the monitor screen connected to the VIDEO
LINE OUT or the S-VIDEO terminal. To set whether to display the date and time information
and the display style, use the DISPLAY menu screen.

Select DISPLAY SET item from the top MENU and dis-
play the DISPLAY menu.

Set the TIME/DATE setting on the DISPLAY menu.

: Does not display date or time.
TIME
: Displays time only.
DATE
: Displays date only.
DATE + TM
: Displays both the time and date.

Set the DATE STYLE and TIME STYLE items of the
DISPLAY menu.

DATE STYLE... Set the order of the date display.
Y/M/D: Year / month / day
M/D/Y: Month / day / year
D/M/Y: Day / month / year

TIME STYLE...Select the style of time display.
24H: 24-hour time mode
12H: 12-hour time mode
Enabling on-screen display:
Main unit
• Set the DISPLAY item of the
DISPLAY menu to ON or
AUTO.
Remote controller
• Press the DISPLAY button.
Memo
• RECORDING or STOP mode : Data in the built-in clock is displayed.
• During Playback
: The date/time recorded on the tape is
displayed.
• During DV signal recording
: The date/time data from the DV termi-
nal is displayed.
