Arming All Security System Circuits
The security system is armed for both windows and doors at the same time.
When leaving your home, exit from
the condominium unit entrance and
lock the front entrance door
●
The Top Menu screen appears.
●
The security system for Absence mode
is set to "On" by default.
●
When the living mode function is not in use, the screen is displayed the security alarm delay
screen and setting the Not-home setting is not available. Set the Not-home setting (
page37)
before setting the security alarm.
●
When a call sub-base unit is connected, the base unit cannot be operated at the same time that
the sub-base unit is operated.

The security system cannot be enabled if the windows
and doors are not properly closed and locked.
●
Due to the effect of the magnets, the security system
may arm even if the windows and doors are not
completely closed. Make sure to close and lock the
windows and doors before arming the security system.

Perform the operations on
the following page when not
using Living mode.

If using Living mode, touch
the Living mode display and
perform the operations from

Exit from the condominium unit entrance within
the security system delay time ( page 187).

Press the OFF button when not going out.
(The security system will arm after the
security alarm delay time elapses.)

The security system delay time can be
shortened by operating the door phone.

The NOT HOME indicator
appears in red when the
Not-home setting is enabled
while using Living mode.
The security system can be armed
without the countdown when the
security system delay is nearly over.
Consult with the management
company or the company that
installed the system.

The security system arms immediately for windows
and after approximately 60 seconds for the front
entrance door. Once armed, the "Security has been
turned on." message appears.
●
The Security SET indicator appears in green.
●
The NOT HOME indicator appears in red when the
Not-home setting is set as "On" while using Living mode.
●
The security system delay start message plays while
the user arms the security system. A sound will be
played 30 seconds before the security system is
armed. 15 seconds before the security system arms,
an audible countdown is triggered every
approximately 5 seconds until the security system
arms. Once armed, the audible "Security has been
turned on." message is triggered. (Default value)
●
The security system arms immediately for both the
windows and front entrance door when all security
system circuits are set to "Security alarm delay
setting: Off" (
page 108).
●
Touch to arm the security system immediately.
●
Touch to disarm the security system.
●
Arming the security system while windows and doors installed
with magnet switches are open causes the audible security
lock-up message ( page 227) to be triggered, the "Check that
all windows and doors are locked." message appears, and the
Security SET indicator flashes in green.
Close and lock the windows and front entrance door to arm the
security system. Touch if you desire to disarm the
security system.

The same message that plays from the base unit also plays
from the sub-base unit and extension speakers if connected.
●
The system can be configured not to play the message when the security
system is armed. A confirmation sound "beep" can also be enabled.
