Recording of images/audio
Manual recording of images/audio
It is possible to record images and audio manually.
Refer to the system administrator for information on the settings relating to manual recording.

Click the [HDD] tab.

Click the Up button in the [Rec] box.
Continue clicking the Up button until the Recording
button and the Recording stop button appear.

Click the recording button.
Recording will start and the [REC] indicator in the
status display area will light.

Click the recording stop button.
Recording will stop and the [REC] indicator in the
status display area will go off.
Note:
• When a recording with higher priority than manual
recording is being performed, manual recording will
be suspended until that recording finishes. Refer to
the "Recording mode and its priority level" section on
the following page for further information.
• When stopping manual recording while another
recording with a different recording mode (emergen-
cy recording, event recording and schedule record-
ing) is being performed, the [REC] indicator will
remain lit and the other recording will continue.
• It is impossible to record images when images are
not being received from cameras.
Recording mode and its priority level
There are 5 recording modes. The recording modes and
their priority levels are as follows. When two or more
recordings with different recording modes started simul-
taneously, only recording with the higher priority will
start.

Audio recording
Audio can be recorded together with images. It is possi-
ble to determine whether or not to record audio for each
camera channel.
Refer to the setup instructions (PDF) for further informa-
tion.
Note:
• Audio can be recorded together with images. It is
impossible to record audio without images.
• It is impossible to simultaneously perform audio
recording and the SD memory recording.
