9.6.4.2.
LSU Image Side to Side Adjustment for the Tray
1. Insert paper into Tray 1, and change the tray setting to the appropriate paper size. Empty, or pull all
the remaining trays out (including the Sheet Bypass tray) to disable them.
2. Press the
“Function”
,
“Copy”
, and the
“3”
keys simultaneously on the Control Panel.
3. Input the password, and select the
“OK”
button to enter the Service Mode (default password is
00000000
, except for DP-C322 Series which do not require a password).
4. Perform the Service Modes F1-03 to F1-07 (Print Test Pattern 1 to 5).
5. Check the gap of the print pattern from the paper edge, refer to the Figure above.
6. Press the
“Reset”
key on the Control Panel to exit to the initial screen of the F1 Service Mode.
7. Press the
“6”
key on the Control Panel, and then press the
“Start”
key to enter the F6 Service
Mode.
8. Perform the Service Modes F6-040 to F6-044, to adjust the gap to 5.8 mm, for all the trays.
9. If the gap is less than 5.8 mm, input a (+) value. If more than 5.8 mm, input a (-) value.
10. Press the
“Reset”
key first on the Control Panel, and then press the
“Function”
, and the
“C
(Clear)”
keys simultaneously to exit the Service Mode.

1. Insert paper into Tray 1, and change the tray setting to the appropriate paper size. Empty, or pull all
the remaining trays out (including the Sheet Bypass tray) to disable them.
2. Press the
“Function”

keys simultaneously on the Control Panel.
3. Input the password, and select the

4. Perform the Service Modes F1-14 to F1-18 (Print Test Pattern 12 to 16).
5. Check the gap of the print pattern from the paper edge, refer to the Figure above.

key on the Control Panel to exit to the initial screen of the F1 Service Mode.
7. Press the
“6”
key on the Control Panel, and then press the
“Start”
key to enter the F6 Service
Mode.
8. Perform the Service Mode F6-045 to F6-049, to adjust the gap to 5.8 mm, for all the trays.
9. If the gap is less than 5.8 mm, input a (+) value. If more than 5.8 mm, input a (-) value.
10. Press the
“Reset”
key first on the Control Panel, and then press the
“Function”
, and the
“C
(Clear)”
keys simultaneously to exit the Service Mode.
