Inserting a battery

• Carefully read the "Precautions" and proceed accordingly.
• To insert a battery, turn off the power of the microphone, and make sure that the micro-

phone is not connected to the charger.

• To replace a battery, refer to “Replacing a battery”. (

page 14).

Note:

• Do not touch the battery poles with hands. Otherwise poor contact or noise may result. If

dirty, wipe off with a dry soft cloth.

Confirm that the battery indicator is off.

Remove the battery cover.

Pull the battery cover in the arrow direction while pressing the

portion with both right and

left thumbs to remove the cover.

Install a battery.

When installing the battery, check the polarity.
If using a rechargeable battery, install one AA size nickel metal hydride battery, if using a
dry cell, install one AA/LR6 size alkaline dry cell, paying attention to the polarity marks (+,
–) of the battery slot.

Attach the battery cover.

Push up the battery cover to the direction of the arrow in the figure, and fit it to its original
position.
