If a program has been loaded into the Editor via the Manager, the

buttons in
the Editor’s
will only function for
Local
programs loaded by double-clicking
the filename in the Manager’s Program Pane. The
+
and
-
buttons cannot be used to browse
Global program files, nor can they be used to scroll through the tiles of the Tile Window.
Note 2: Global
programs
cannot
be loaded into the Editor by double-clicking the filename in
the Manager’s Program Pane; to edit a Global program, you must first drag or send it to the
Tile Window and click or double-click the tile.
The functions of the Manager are detailed below.
File Commands
The buttons of this section and the associated Program Pane below it are used to browse
and select FI program files on your computer and online for editing and auditioning. Any
selected program(s) can simply be dragged from the Program Pane and dropped into the
Tile Window, or the dedicated command button can be used. (You can select multiple files by
shift-clicking and control-clicking.) The Program Pane can be scrolled using either the mouse
scroll wheel or the scroll bar on the right of the pane; finer scrolling can be performed by
holding down either SHIFT or CTRL while using the mouse scroll wheel.
From left to right, the buttons’ functions are as follows:
● SELECT DIRECTORY:
Clicking here allows you to open a file location to audition
and manage FI program files. The selected location will appear in the Program Pane;
the pane can display folders and files. Folder names are shown in square brackets
and files are shown using plain text. Double-click a folder name to see its contents.
To go back up one level, scroll to the top of the pane and click on the folder icon with
the two dots
