Flexible zone/bridge
(Only for PI models 3150 - 3151 - 3210 -3211)
This zone can be used as a single zone or as two different zones, depending on the cooking
requirements at any given time.
The flexible zone consists of two independent inductors which can be controlled by se- parated.
When operating as a single zone, the part that is not covered by the cookware is automatically
switched off after one minute.
To ensure correct detection of the pans and even heat distribution, the pans must be positioned
correctly:
At the front or rear of the flexible zone when the cookware is less than 22 cm.
1. Anywhere with larger pots
2. To activate the bridge zone press the sensor with the icon
The power setting works like any other normal zone.
If the cooker is moved from the front to the rear (or vice versa), the flex zone automatically detects
the new position while maintaining the same power.
To add another pot, press the dedicated keys again, to detect the cookware. As two independent
zones
To use the flex area as two different zones with different powers, press the Flex Area knob.
