Device Operation
1.
Login to the web server. Refer to
Introduction to the Web Server (page 52)

2. Click
System
in the menu bar.
3. Click the
Hostname
field and enter the desired name.
4. Click
Save
to commit changes.
Setting the Host Name
By default, the AT-OME-MS42 is assgned a hostname, which is constructed as follows:
OMEMS42-[last six digits of MAC address]
For example, a default hostname might look like this: OMEMS42-00021B. This value can be changed to easily
identify the AT-OME-MS42 within the Atlona Management System (AMS) or a network. If using a custom hostname,
it must meet the hostname standards, defined here:
