View a certificate
Your phone is able to use personal security certificates that you add to the phone and it also has root
certificates that come pre-installed.

From the Home screen, press the left soft key
[Start] [All Programs] [More]

.
4.
Select
Certificates
and press
OK
.
5.
Choose one of the following:
z
Personal to view the list of personal certificates.
z
Intermediate to view the list of intermediate.
z
Root to view the list of root certificates.

Select the certificate you want to view and press
OK
.
Delete a certificate
Be careful when deleting certificates: select only the certificate you intend to delete. Root certificates should
only be deleted when you are certain you do not need that security on the phone.

Important NOTE:
Deleting a root certificate can make it impossible to use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
protocols, which help you to send personal information more securely.
Encryption
When you will want to encrypt any files, select ‘Encrypt files placed on storage cards’ check box. You can
save encrypted files which are placed on a storage card. Such files are readable only by this Windows
Mobile-based device.
Master Clear
When you have purchased your phone, all the settings are pre-configured and installed. Any time you can
return your phone to the factory default settings.

Master Clear
and press

NOTE:
Master Clear erases all user data and initializes all settings to the factory default mode.
NOTE: To ensure the operation of Master Clear, the SIM card should be inserted while Device-Lock is
unlocked.
Important NOTE:
If you forgot the password to unlock Device-Lock, follow the steps below to activate
Master Clear.
1. Switch off the power and remove the SIM card.
2. Switch on the power. Press
‘*25327#’
on the Home screen and then press
OK
.
Changing Master Clear Password
