Operating Instructions

1.

Using the measuring cup, collect the desired amount of rice.

2.

Thoroughly wash the rice, ensuring it is free of starch and that no steam build
up will occur.

3.

Place the desired amount of rice into the inner bowl, and then add the
corresponding amount of water. The level is on the inside of the inner bowl,
where one cup of rice is equivalent to water level 1, two cups would require
water up to level 2, and so on.

4.

Then place the inner bowl into the rice cooker, ensuring there is no rice on the
outside of the bowl and that the bowl is dry.

5.

Place the lid onto the rice cooker and turn the unit on.

6.

Press the switch to start cooking the rice. The “Rice Cooking” light will
illuminate.

7.

When the rice is cooked, the unit will switch to the “Keep Warm” function.

8.

Wait a further 10 minutes before removing the lid, to ensure the rice has been
thoroughly steamed.

9.

After this time, the lid can be removed. Then proceed to stir the rice with the
included spoon, now the rice is ready to eat.

10.

Make sure the rice is consumed within 2 hours, ensuring to stir the rice again
prior to consumption.

11.

When finished, simply turn the unit OFF.

NOTE

: Please keep the following in mind:

Certain types of rice may cause a steam build up, if this occurs, lift the lid
allowing the steam to escape.

Never reheat cooked rice in the cooker.

Don’t use sharp objects inside the inner bowl, as the non-stick coating may be
damaged.

Make sure the unit is unplugged during filling and when being cleaned.

ALWAYS use heat resistant gloves when removing the inner bowl from the
cooker.
